Location
The BioMS 2011 workshop will be held at the at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Milan, Italy. The meeting space is in one of the central administrative buildings, located in Sant'Antonio Street, 10, nearby the Rectorate.
Accomodation
Various 3- and 4-star hotels are nearby or easily reachable by public transportations. Other cheaper solutions are reachable by public transportation in up to 15 minutes. No room block will be guaranteed.

Transportation
Milan is very well connected to Europe by air and train, as well as reachable also by car.
By plane
There are three airports:
- Milano-Linate is the city airport connected to many European cities and hubs.
The public bus No. 73 reaches downtown from this airport in about 20 minutes with several stops along the route (http://www.atm-mi.it/en/Pages/default.aspx).
- Milano-Malpensa is the main international airport, about at 50 km from Milan.
Downtown can be reached from this airport either by train in about 50 minutes departing every 30 minutes, (http://www.malpensaexpress.it/en/index.php) or by bus in about 1 hour departing every 5-10 minutes (http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/en/malpensa/index.phtml?mod=per_mi_scroll&to=come_arrivare).
- Orio al Serio is popular with low-cost airlines, and is located at 45 km from Milan.

Milan is reachable by highways from all of the continental European countries. It is recommended to check for availability of guest parking at or nearby the desired hotel: check for parking rates since they may vary significantly.
